ERP implementation understanding the business processes of an organization and designing of different phases of ERP implementation which includes – Customizations, integration, support, understanding of forms, fields, workflows etc
Knowledge of Municipal Finance
Ensure that clients organization implement a complete solution that meet their business needs and lead the client project throughout the development and the support phases.
Ensure the business processes used by organization are optimized for better growth, define objectives of ERP, and transform organization processes at optimum level.
Resolve complex processes issues and data mining into the solution.
Prepare test cases for testing the current ERP system. Testing may include Unit testing, System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, or any client specific software testing.
ERP implementation consist of various modules for departments such as Sales, purchase, accounting, finance, Human resource. Add on Modules (Bank Manager, Procurement, Advanced Procurement, Mobile Sale, Contact Management, Multi-Warehouse etc)
Provide training either at client side, offsite or Online. Proper documentation of Training needs to be prepared in order to make optimum use of ERP after implementation.
Help update knowledge on domain field practices and related technology.
Helps in performing daily activities with respect to ERP software and provide complete activity reports on the plan, schedules, demo, go live, support phases.
Offsite system support to local and district municipalities as well as private and state owned organization.
Ensuring municipalities are working in accordance with the new MSCOA policies set out by treasury.
Finance department training on core modules; General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory and Order Entry as well as reporting utility (Business Intelligence)
Assisting transacting within the system with regards to the completion of bank reconciliation and billing.
Implementation of branch accounting site (business with a central head office and supporting branches)
Data analysis – stock movement, buying and selling patterns,
Data investigations – causation of system inconsistencies; events leading to errors, incorrect outputs and so forth
New Database Creation and Setup
Data Migration (GL, AP, AR, inventory Using DDS and SQL)
Installation of servers and workstation and Performing System upgrades
Needs analysis and scoping
General Evolution Support Data Fix Troubleshoot program errors
Understanding of MS SQL and SQL Script Data Manipulation
Retail Point of Sale

Data Cleansing and Implementation of Municipal billing for different services.
Technical Skills– The job of an ERP Consultant is based around troubleshooting and upgrading the ERP software. As such, the ideal candidate will come in with extensive knowledge of software, and a readiness to learn new programs as they are introduced and incorporated.
Problem-Solving Skills– An ERP Consultant will be on call to handle any issues with the ERP Software. They will need to be able to think creatively and resolve problems to ensure the smoothest possible experience for users of the ERP software.
Teamwork and Leadership– The ERP consultant is responsible for coordinating the needs of each of the company’s/Clients departments.
Communication and Presentation Skills– The ERP Consultant is responsible for presenting a full plan to management, as well as for teaching the ins and outs of the upgraded system to employees. As such, they will need strong communication skills to be able to get complex ideas across in an easy-to-understand fashion.
